Giallo Jodad carries the house name because it is the stone we would choose to be judged on. It is golden rather than cream, with enough figure to hold an eye and enough warmth to change the temperature of a room.

It is not a field stone. Run it across a large floor and the figure repeats until it flattens; give it one wall, one reception face, one lift lobby, and it does what a feature stone is supposed to do — carry the space on its own without help from anything else in the room.

Polished, the gold goes deep and the figure reads at full contrast. Honed, it quiets to a warm matte that still holds its character under artificial light.
