Marbre et calcaire
Silvia Gold is the stone that gets specified when a scheme needs gold with discipline. The ground is warm and the figure is fine and directional — closer to a grain than a vein — so it holds a straight architectural line where a cloudier gold would look loose.
Because the grain has direction, laying it has consequences. Run it one way across a floor and the room lengthens; turn it and the same stone widens the space. Decide the direction on the drawing, not on site, and keep it consistent across thresholds.
The Sunny family sheet applies — 0.30 % absorption, 13,300 psi in compression — so it belongs indoors and on sheltered elevations: floors, cladding, reception faces, bathroom walls.
Polished, the gold deepens and the grain sharpens. Honed and brushed hold it quieter, which suits large floors. Supplied as blocks, slabs and cut to size.
