Honey Alabaster, Flower Cut.

Flower cut is the same stone as the vein cut, opened across the bed instead of along it. The banding that runs as straight stripes one way becomes a bloom the other way: concentric, cloud-like figures that spread from the centre of each slab.

That makes it the expressive cut. Where vein cut is orderly enough to run across an elevation, flower cut wants to be a single event — one backlit panel, one table top, one niche — because each slab's figure is its own and no two align.

Both cuts come from the same blocks, so a project can use vein cut as the field and flower cut as the moment inside it. Polished for maximum translucency, honed where the light should be softer.
